Playground & Jumping Pillow
Our main adventure playground is great fun, complete with monkey bars, swings, slides and balance beam.
Next to this we have our fantastic Jumping Pillow. Young or older, it's hours of fun (and will certainly wear those energetic kids out).
If you enjoy a bounce, then why not have a jump on our trampoline - complete with safety netting.
There is a second playground area by the outdoor BBQ with a see-saw and swings, including a toddler swing for the smallest camper.
Trikes and Bikes
Choose from a double trike on which mum or dad can do the hard work peddling and the little ones can relax and enjoy the ride (or the other way round, depending on who has the most energy), a sturdy off-road single seater, super-fun balance bike (for that extra adrenaline rush) or a 3-wheel triggy. Each trike is just $5 hire for 20-30 minutes.
We also have some toddler trikes available for hire at just $2 for half an hour.
For those that want to get out of the park and explore the area, we have 2 mountain bikes for hire at just $10 per hour. The nearby mountain bike park is worth a visit and Wanganui has plenty of cycle lanes for you to get around town.
If you fancy something completely different during your holiday how about a go at paintball?
With full safety mask, overalls and instructions provided, we can offer games in a secluded area by the river for up to 10 people. Or if there's only one or two of you, we can set up some target practice in the woods.

For young and old alike our indoor games room has something for everyone. There are pool tables, a table tennis table, air hockey and video games machines.
Conveniently located close to everything and open all day you can pack the kids off with their gold coins and relax or join them and have a family Ping-Pong tournament. Table tennis balls can be purchased for just a gold coin so you can then keep it and play to your hearts content all holiday.
Next to the main park you will find a large open field which can be used for any number of ball games. Please ask at reception for our selection of balls available.
There is a volleyball net set up, so why not have a game. A basket ball hoop is also available in the main holiday park.
Fancy trying something new? GIve petanque a go. With boule available to hire from reception (and rules if you need them), pit the family against each other in a friendly game in the sun.You can hire boule from reception for just $3 (plus $10 deposit) and play to your hearts content.
If you don't know the rules, just ask us, they're simple and easy to play for all ages.
As you are so close to the Whanganui River it would be a shame not to experience her in all her glory, so get out there on a kayak. With options ranging from 1 hour to half a day or a 5km or 8km trip down river, we've a package to suit all abilities. Your choice of single or double kayak. Feeling a bit lazy? Take a double, sit in the back and let your partner do all the hard work while you enjoy the view!
