Park Facilities
Our warm and friendly receptionists will be the first people to greet you at the start of your Whanganui TOP 10 Holiday Park experience. To make the most out of your stay with us, visit reception to hire trikes, spa sessions, bikes or kayaks. You can also buy kiwi summer essential Streets ice cream, snacks, drinks and many other supplies from the store inside reception - check out our shelves and freezer full of those food essentials and treats too. Think pizza, burgers, chips, sausages, frozen meals, pasta, rice, beans, as well as sweet treats and crisps.
Thirsty? We've got you covered with freshly made barista coffees and hot chocolates served all day long and in the summer months the kids will love our awesome frozen slushies. And in the fridge you'll find all manner of fizzy drinks, juice and water. Got your own water bottle with you? You'll find our free, chilled Hydration Station in Reception.
To make your stay comfortable we offer a range of homely-feeling amenities.
Our large communal kitchen has all the services you need, 3 large ovens, full height fridges and freezer, microwaves, toasters, kettles, and a few extras including fresh herbs planted outside to season any dish. We also offer a Kitchen Utensils Cupboard Key for a deposit which gives you access to any extra kitchen utensils or equipment you might need during your stay if you weren't able to bring your own.
Our TV room has Netflix, and Sky Sport Apps ready loaded for all your movie and sports needs. In here you'll also find out Book Swap and board games to borrow.
Looking for onsite dining options? Our indoor dining room has plenty of seating even for large groups, but we also have tons of outdoor seating options, undercover or in the sunshine.
Are you even camping if you're not having a BBQ? You'll find we have 3 free to use BBQs (see the main deck, small playground and tent field options). For an alternative tasty and convenient dinner option you'll find our pizza oven on our main deck area, along with our world famous hot chip vending machine! And for desert, grab an ice cream from the vending machine on the deck.
SWIMming pool
After a busy day exploring Whanganui, what better way to cool off than taking a dip in our seasonally heated pool? We have a slide to entertain the kids, and a heated toddler pool for the little ones!
The pools are open and heated from the September school holidays to the end of the April school holidays.
PRIVATE SPA
After an adrenaline fuelled day out kayaking or trekking on of the local tracks, what could be better than a soak in our private spa? Book your session in Reception and sit back and let the cares of the world drift away. Last session 9pm. Bookings essential in summer.
There are activities for people of every age at our park. We have trikes, bikes and kayaks available for you to hire.
Feel free to use our games room or petanque as well. The jumping pillow is for kids of all ages, from 1-100.
