Opening Hours

Our light and airy reception is open:
Summer: 8:30am to 8:00pm
Autumn/Spring: 9:00am to 7:00pm
Winter: 9:00am to 6:00pm

We have a simple procedure for out of hours arrivals, so if you think you might arrive after we close, just give us a call and we can still make your arrival as smooth as silk.

Shop

Checked in and settled then realised you forgot to visit the supermarket for essentials? Want to cool off with an ice cream on a hot day? Need insect repellent for a spontaneous trek? Our shop is placed conveniently inside reception so that you don't need to leave the park for any of your basic needs.

We stock lots of things, so chances are we'll have what you need. We stock frozen food (like burgers and pizzas) soft drinks, pasta, noodles, tinned goods, cereal, deserts, coffee and tea, crisps, snacks, chocolate and lollies, sun cream, swimming nappies, pool toys, card games, insect repellent, camping toilet tablets, shower gel, toothpaste, laundry powder, postcards and more. Why not pick up the local free paper while you're here.

During the summer we also stock bags of ice, so your drinks will always be cool. Need to re-fill your water bottle - just use our handy Hydration Station for chilled or room temperature water.

We have a range of fresh barista made coffee available in reception, from Americano to Flat whites there's something for every coffee lover plus Hot Chocolate for the kids or those with a sweet tooth! TOP 10 members get 50c off, if you bring your own cup you also get 50c off.

In summer we also have a Slushy Machine, frozen drinks the kids will love love love!

We are also here to offer tourist advice so you can get the most out of your stay in Whanganui.

Things To Do In The Park

And reception is where you can; hire a trike, borrow the petanque boule, book your spa session, organise a kayak trip, get change for the games room or get the key for the family bathroom.
(An adult over 18 must be present to hire the spa or kayaks)
