At Whanganui River TOP 10 there are plenty of options where you can pitch your tent or park your unpowered van to enjoy the perfect kiwi holiday.

All the sites are within a short walk of our centrally located 4*plus communal facilities which are always maintained to the highest level of cleanliness.

Up to 6 people are allowed per pitch and there is plenty of space so don't feel shy about bringing your awning or boat for that classic kiwi holiday. Please tell us the size of your tent or van at booking. During peak times we have an additional large overflow field behind reception suitable for unpowered tents and vans. 

There are plenty of picnic tables all around the park.

All the other entertainment facilities around the park are just a short stroll form wherever you decide to pitch.

There's so much to do within the park, you may never want to leave:-

Our outdoor swimming pool is heated to a lovely 30 degrees for 8 months of the year (closed for winter).
Our playground facilities for the kids are always expanding and will keep the little ones entertained for hours.
Adults and children alike are welcome to bounce on our fantastic jumping pillow.
We have trikes for hire to ride around the park.
Kayaks for hire to get out onto the river.
A private spa pool for hire to soak and relax in
